Our brain makes a huge effort to keep us logic and focus in our everyday surviving fight. We need to sleep not because our body is tired but because our brain is. When we sleep our conscious finally can take a break and the unconscious is released with no barriers, with no filters, with no conscious... and then we dream. When we sleep our conscious sleeps, it is turned off, and our unconscious is free to live, play and create whatever reality wants to be in.

When we sleep our conscious sleeps, it is turned off, and our unconscious is free to live, play and create whatever reality wants to be in.
But what if our dreams also reflect a connection with other realities denied during our vigil to keep us focus and functional in our lives?
And here is the danger, because we could run away during our sleep to fight with dragons at the edge of a cliff in a world we don't belong. That is why our body should be tight it up in sleep paralysis.
What if all the knowledge of the universe could go through our dreams without any fence to stop it or select it?
The knowledge we could have access to, could be so disturbing that we need a weak sleepy memory to fade out any restlessness information remainder when we open our eyes.
